… a month later - Sebastian Błażkiewicz
Welcome everyone – a month has elapsed from establishment of our portal concerning business security (thank you for all pleasant e-mails). It is far to early for an assessment; however, it is essential that we have a lot to write about and the list of companies/authors writing for us is still growing but I will come back to it later. It was supposed to be about something else, but I assume that it is worth writing what business security is. A lot has been said about business security, however, there are as many definitions of it as people and it is understood in various ways. I emphasize that there will not be any definition or a thesis – I’m not an academic professor who spent ... more >>

RUSSIA TRAVEL RISK GUIDE - Dmitry Budanov

If you pack for variably poor weather, keep an open mind, be flexible, empathetic to cultural differences and able to tolerate the lacking infrastructure of this country, home to over 141 million Russians, Central Asians, Caucasians, Tatars ... more >>

Food safety management from the practical – managerial perspective. - Anna Avraham
Consumer chooses products and service that best fulfils once needs, even if one is not aware of them. Willingness to buy increases when consumer has a possibility to deliberately choose a product while entrepreneurs must recognize customer’s needs and understand an essence of once decisions. Traditionally, “Threat” has been defined as the combination of intent and capability on the part of whichever group or individual was being assessed. This has proven to be the case in almost every security related field and is still used as the baseline for creating security procedures and countermeasures ... more >>

About assumptions and requirements of the norm ISO/PAS 28000 had already written Mr Leszek Sitkowski from LRQA in the January edition of our portal. ACCOUNT OF LIBERIA FROM 1989/1999 CIVIL WAR TILL 2008 - Moseray Momoh
In the late 1989, the First Liberian Civil War began. The harsh dictatorial atmosphere that gripped the country was due largely to Samuel Doe's rule. These fighters quickly gained control of much of the country, thanks to strong support from the local population who were disillusioned with their then government. By then, a new player also emerged: Yormie Prince Johnson (former ally of Taylor, now Senior ... more >>
